ABOUT KEVIN B. PELKA
Kevin Brian Pelka is a loving father, a son, a husband and an experienced Sr. Project Manager/Engineer with over 20 years of professional experience.
Born in Grand Rapids MI, graduated from Western Michigan University with BS in Mechanical Engineering, Kevin started his first career as a mechanical design engineer, which eventually led to project engineering in the automation industry. Kevin executed the design, commissioning and implementation of material handling systems for distribution centers such as Walmart and Walgreens, along with the food and clothing apparel industries.
In 2005, Kevin moved to California, and he transitioned to the manufacturing of building and construction materials industry where he was heavily involved with project management and eventually Plant Management in manufacturing facilitates. Kevin developed his leadership skills along with obtaining certifications in project management and lean manufacturing. He was also instrumental in several new product launches along with numerous group patents. Upon receiving MBA, he transitioned back to the automation industry where he held a position as an Operations-Engineering Manager for his final years living in California.
Upon moving to Hawaii in 2016, Kevin transitioned into the solar industry, and eventually into project management for sizeable construction projects.
As a result of his 20 years of professional experience, along with the variety of his background, Kevin felt confident in opening the engineering/consulting firm KBP Services. In this consulting role, Kevin is passionate about managing complex technical projects, programs and leading diverse teams to exceed expectations while on budget and on time. We look forward to helping your company achieving higher goals.

Design and build of "off the grid" tiny homes for the homeless community. Also modelling design to aid in disaster relief.
INTERNATIONAL ENGINEERING SPONSORSHIP IN CAMBODIA
Kevin met Neey through his close friend Stan in Laguna Beach, CA. Neey was struggling getting past his freshman year of college due to financial reasons. With Kevin's sponsorship, Neey will be graduating in 2019 with a Civil Engineering degree.


COMMUNITY BREAKFAST
Poverty Alleviation: Aid in organization of community breakfast for homeless community in North San Diego County.
